Sykes‘s Lark (Top):Was sitting on dry lake bed for last 2 hours (not moving much) trying to catch snaps of sand plovers, just when i turn around this fellow is standing too close to me (guess never saw me sitting) that i cannot even focus, waited for him to come into minimum focus range and that is where he gave this full of attitude look and flew away :)

Purple-Rumped Sunbird (Middle-left): Trying to kill his prey… but some how prey fell down..leaving just one of leg in his mouth.. the split second reaction was captured, where he immediately went after and caught the prey again in mid air..Pretty neat i must say!

Blue-bearded Bee-eater (Middle-Center): One of the most elusive birds and hard to photograph. I guess he was busy feeding his chicks and would not venture near the nest until it was safe to do so, once he took note of my presence in the area, he would would stay put on the branches of random trees and did not move much until i left the scene. I took few shots and left as soon as possible and not cause unnecessary stress to the bird and hinder the feeding activity.

Western Yellow Wagtail (Middle-Right): Well i was sitting tight on ground in once place and this guy landed just near me but i was not able to get a clear shot because of twigs and branches. My buddy who is no camera tech..was sitting beside me and had a clear view.. i handed over the camera to him to take this shot.. not bad for a first timer :)

Indian Roller (Bottom): Seen many picture of this bird before but never saw it up close. This was the first time i saw this bird in its all glory. Perched bird looks does not look much colorful until you see them fly… all colors seem to come alive.
